The inaugural Ballybunion Half Marathon & 10k was a huge success. We had over 1200 entries and the feedback we have received from participants has been extremely positive.

Katie from London wrote:
“It was a great event as it had all of the key attributes of a good race; competitive field, stunning scenery, good organisation, good goodie bag and t shirt.
I can't wait for the next one.”

Redmond from Abbeyfeale wrote:
“Congrats on a fantastic event “

Pat from Listowel wrote:
“I enjoyed the above event very much and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you all on the organisation of the event and the professional way in which it was run ’looking forward to next year already.”

The organisers would like to thank all of the volunteers, (particularly the Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue crew), the Ballybunion Gardai, the Ballybunion Tidy Towns committee, our starter triple Olympian Jamie Costin, our website designer Tom Mulvihill, our local supermarket proprietors Cormac and Elaine Cahill and you the participants for all of your support and encouragement.

We are already looking forward to Easter 2011 and delivering a bigger and better event.
